Jeff Schmid in concert NEXT SUNDAY evening service. Jeff has led worship in various Nashville churches and abroad and loves to sing and write music for the sole purpose of encouraging and bringing hearts closer to God.

For all who plan to work in our Children’s Ministry on Sunday evenings, choose ONE of the following training times:
Tuesday, August 31 from 6 –8 p.m.;
Wednesday, September 1 from 6-8 p.m.;
Saturday, September 4 from 8-10 a.m.
All training sessions will be in the fellowship hall.

Christmas in August
This year we will be sending supplies to Marshal Bundren in Crown Point, IN. Marshal is a chaplain to seafarers. He and his team of helpers will use the supplies sent to fill boxes and secretly place aboard ships so that on Christmas morning no matter where in the world they find themselves every sailor will have a Christmas gift to open. The supplies needed are:
Toothbrushes Washcloths Razors
Combs/Brushes Manicure Sets Pens/Pencils
Adhesive Bandages Men’s Gloves Men’s socks
Men’s Toboggan Hats CD Players CD’s and DVD’s
Disposable Cameras Flashlights (with Batteries)
Wal-Mart Gift Cards New Men’s Sunglasses

The food pantry is in need of food donations. If you would like to help with this ministry, we could use canned vegetables, peanut butter, tuna (or any kind of canned meats), soup, dried beans, pasta, spaghetti sauce or small boxes of instant potatoes and cereals.
